For the beginner
Art Class
Our Art Class spans the full spectrum ~ from drawing a single line to composition and shading. You’ll learn to analyse and interpret a picture: what to include, what to leave out, and how to build a beautiful artwork. It doesn’t only teach you to draw; it teaches you to observe and calculate scale, space, proportion and value. Little projects in pencil, charcoal and pastel let you explore each medium, beginning with form and value, then drawing from both a picture and from life. Suited to beginners, with options for intermediate and advanced learners.
Your Hand
A remarkable tool ~ skill, intuition and emotion bringing a vision to life, led by the eye, intellect and heart.
Your Eyes
Art relies on visual perception. Your eyes gather shape, colour and texture, guiding every creative decision.
Your Brain
The mind turns observation into art ~ where inspiration lives, driving innovation and meaningful work.

Corporate
Art Team Building
People react better to creativity than to a forced corporate atmosphere.
A group can share an entirely unique experience through a creative painting, mixed media, sculpture or drawing session. The process of making art motivates our intuitive faculties ~ especially right-brain activity like optical and gestural communication, aesthetics and appreciation.
Use the session as team-building or stress relief while responding to new artistic stimuli. A teacher guides the group, demonstrating techniques to build a finished work. Art products are supplied, along with the instruments to produce a whole host of effects.
Techniques can include sponging, texture, palette knife, splattering, wax, s’graffito (scratching off), squeegeeing, dripping, swirling, charcoal mixing and combing. Sculpture builds a clay model onto a frame. For a deeper session, art tasks can be coordinated to your corporate culture or problem-solving.
Each person can also receive a hamper of art products and sweets, keeping the playful element. Artwork can be collective, individual or grouped ~ and venues can be arranged almost anywhere.
